Homework Links
Children are not typically given formal homework, but may sometimes be given topic specific or targeted work to further support their learning in school. KS1 pupils will sometimes be given spellings, to be supported with at home.
All children are expected to read regularly to a parent or carer. KS2 pupils will be set a reading target each term, and all pupils will work towards getting a 'full bookmark', as they receive a sticker for their bookmark each time they read at home. Nursery pupils are also encouraged to choose a visual reading book to share at home, to encourage a love of books and reading from an early age.
You can see our Homework Policy for more guidance on homework.
