TALKIN TARN ACTIVITY DAY

On Thursday we all went to Talkin Tarn and met up with Darren and his team who arranged lots of fantastic activities for us to do.  In the morning, the juniors enjoyed archery and raft building while the infants were very busy canoeing and learning how to make a campfire.  We toasted marshmallows and made smores.  After lunch we all learned the valuable skill of map reading that were essential for our next activity - orienteering.  It was great fun finding all the places on our maps.  Darren emailed school later to comment on how polite and respectful our children were, and how his team had enjoyed teaching them which is lovely feedback to hear.  Well done everyone!
